I work with people who want to learn the communication tools and skills for stronger and happier relationships so that their families can have stronger foundations and happier futures.

Some reasons you may be seeking therapy:
-
navigating the transition to parenthood or working through differing parenting styles
-
learning how to stop yelling/silence
-
working through trauma history together or processing divorce/breakup
-
managing differences in cultures or neurotypes
-
working through trust and betrayal events
-
reconnecting physical/emotional intimacy
-
learning to prevent problems before they happen
You're not alone in seeking therapy and everyone is welcome here :)

Together we can figure out an approach tailored to what you need and what will work best for who you are so you can start to feel better.

Overcome hurt and betrayals, yelling, the silent treatment.. reignite physical intimacy and regain emotional trust...
Start figuring out where it's all going wrong (and learn the skills to fix it) so you can stop hurting each other, heal, and get back to connection and joy with each other and with your life...

Welcome to Sage & Vine Counseling...
Hey there :) I’m Steph Wise! I'm the licensed marriage and family therapist behind Sage & Vine Counseling.

I've been in mental health for 11 years and worked on crisis lines, with the homeless population, with children and families, and for the past few years my focus has been on relationships.

I am driven by the belief that the positive effects of strong relationships skills reverberate without end. Whether you are working to strengthen your relationship, explore your past to feel more prepared for a new relationship, or recovering from a breakup, I am here to help.

The most important thing to me as your therapist is that you feel your time in therapy is well spent and above all, effective.

To get started, we’ll explore your unique problems, address underlying feelings, and then equip you with the tools to reconnect. Therapy should feel like it is a space to get comfortable with the hard stuff yes, but it should also feel empowering and above all, helpful.
